Finally Back at My Local Church

After 10 weeks of being house-bound after breaking my ankle on May 10th,
I was able to go to liturgy at our local church today!
I was welcomed back warmly and was so glad to be there!
It was more tiring than I had hoped it would be,
but little by little, I will get closer to walking normally again!
I had not been to liturgy since May 7th!

What a blessed day you had! I'm not surprised you found it tiring, and yet, how wonderful it surely was to take that "first step" back into a more normal routine. I'm really happy for you. Now, rest up! Even good experiences can sap energy!

I'm sure they were delighted to see you.
But do take time to rest now.

What BLESSING and JOY, Elizabeth--such wonderful news! To be away from church too long feels like something big is missing from the days, so this all must have been hard in so many, many ways--even just not being able to go to Liturgy. I'm so glad... but not surprised your energy was a bit zapped. ;) Rest a little now...And have a good new week. GOD BLESS you! :) ((HUGS))

Glory to God! It's like coming home after being terribly homesick, to return and be in church after such a long absence. Rest for the soul, to be sure.

ten weeks is much too long, I hope this never ever happens again. Glad you are released from being homebound.

It was a joyful day for you, without a doubt! And I hope you are getting a little stronger every day. Just think how far you've come on the road back to full mobility. I pray all the other aspects of your life are also resolving themselves. Glory to God!
